In order to enrich the learning experience of our students and promote balanced development, the ECA Committee and the four Houses organised the Inter-house Chinese Debating Competition on 24 Nov 2021. The motion was “The Government Should Limit the Amount of Homework to Help Relieve Students’ Pressure”. Yellow House and Green House formed the affirmative team while Blue House and Red House were the opposition team. Our Chinese teacher Ms LAI Sui-yi and committee members of Inter-school Chinese Debating Competition, Mr Sze Cho-man and Ms FUNG Tsz-ching were the judges of the competition. Giving the debaters timely feedback, they commented on the language standard, eloquence and organisation skills of the debaters. The opposition team, composed of members of Blue House and Red House, won. All the participants learnt a lot from this competition.
