The STEM Education Team arranged for S4 students to participate in the design and production of Roman Catapults in the Other Learning Experience (OLE) lesson. The students first learned basic knotting techniques and then used bamboo and rope to make 1:1 catapults. Upon completion, students made ammunition out of environmentally-friendly materials and applied scientific knowledge and skills in a catapult competition.
