The JA Company Programme, co-organised by BAFS, Economics and Entrepreneurship Hub, provides student participants with the learning experience of how a company operates. With focus on team building, fund raising, business planning, production, product and service retailing and even liquidation, the programme aims to promote entrepreneurship among the new generation through role-playing of business owners and administrative staff so that students could pick up essential life skills for career planning. All BAFS students were expected to join this programme. The Kick-off Ceremony of the JA Company Programme 2021 was addressed by Mr LAM Ching-yau on 21 Oct 2021, followed by student participants taking an oath and kicking off the programme in an innovative way. Our students set up a company called “Bear with Me”, with the aim of raising people’s awareness of the pollution plaguing polar bears and brown bears due to human activity, while appealing to more public support for animal welfare and thus making our Earth a more sustainable and inhabitable one.
