Our weekly Flag-raising Ceremony and Speech under the National Flag aims to cultivate more respect for and understanding of China. Every week, Principal CHIN Yiu-ming, teachers and students take turns to share information on national achievement and development with the whole school. Along with Moral, Civic and National Education, students gain a better understanding of our country and develop a stronger sense of national identity. The 2nd Flag-raising Ceremony in September was held on 10 Sep 2021 and the Speech under the National Flag was delivered by Principal CHIN Yiu-ming and Ms CHAN Pui-ling, PTA Chairperson. The theme of the speech was “Happy Teachers’ Day”. In appreciation of the dedication of our teachers, we celebrated Teachers’ Day on 10 Sep 2021. After the Flag-raising Ceremony, the event kicked off with speeches by Principal CHIN Yiu-ming and our Parent-Teacher Association Chairperson, Ms CHAN Pui-ling respectively. Led by our previous Student Association, Apex, the two proposed cabinets conducted teacher-student interaction sessions and performances. As tribute to all our teaching staff, students posted their thank you cards on the board. The day concluded perfectly with our Administrative Assistant to Principal, Mrs ROSS Tricia Kit-ying singing “You Raise Me Up” on the stage, together with the two proposed cabinets.
