The School Commencement Ceremony 2020/21 was held on 1 Sep 2020 via online streaming & live broadcast in response to the spread of COVID-19. The assembly started with the Flag Raising Ceremony and the playing of the National Anthem. Our teachers happily shared the achievements of our students and our school. 6 awards were presented and a total of 10 students were commended. Afterwards, Principal CHIN Yiu-ming delivered his address and introduced new staff to the whole school. He mentioned the school’s major concerns to students. They are: 1. to enhance learning and teaching effectiveness; 2. to develop positive character and attitude of students, thus promoting a caring culture. Finally, Principal CHIN reminded all students to uphold the school motto of STMGSS: Diligence, Sincerity, Modesty and Generosity, and continue to make STMGSS a caring campus full of love and mutual respect. The assembly ended pleasantly with the singing of the school song.
